Bijan Sinha, 85 years young and full of mischief, is not a typical grandpa. He’s the heart and soul of all PU Mates. And his best friend? None other than Pritam — the youngest member of the PU gang and his favourite partner-in-fun.
While others his age fuss about knee pain and weather forecasts, Mr. Sinha prefers action — in the form of computer games, to be precise. He not only plays them with flair but also floods Pritam’s inbox with game requests, emojis, and cheeky one-liners.
He never misses a birthday party. Whether it’s a 25-year-old’s bash or a surprise cake-cutting on Zoom, Bijan Sinha is there — grooving, laughing and telling his legendary stories from “back in the day.” Pritam listens to those tales like he’s hearing them for the first time, every single time.
Sometimes, with a playful smile, Mr. Sinha says, “One day I’ll join you on the football field, Pritam.”
To which Pritam always replies with a laugh, “You already lead the team in spirit, Mr. Sinha. If you ever get on the field, the rest of us might as well sit out.”
But the truth is, Mr. Sinha already plays the most important game — one of spirit, connection and timeless friendship.
