'Banishing Loneliness'
Mrs. T. Mukherjee found a grandson in Souradip

User Review

Mrs. T. Mukherjee found a grandson in Souradip. She shares her daily routines, her happy moments, her plights with him. Sometimes even sharing their evening tea and snacks together.

At one point in time with her kids and grandkids well established, living abroad and her staying alone with her long time attendant, she felt isolation and depression set in as her near and dear ones lived far away. All this changed once Pink Umbrella came into the scene in the form of a real friend.

Souradip visits her twice a month and beside taking health vitals they talk about her life experience and overall just as friends do.

And Mrs. Mukherjee's opinion of Souradip?—“He is very responsible and friendly. He helps me a lot with things I couldn't do before. Even forces me to walk.”

Souradip shared, “We both feel comfortable and talk freely. We talk about everything—family, current affairs, life and we also joke around a lot. I love her personality. She is very spiritual and very devoted to God. I love to spend time with her and it never feels like a job. I always check in on her to assure myself she is doing fine. It feels great that I can help her and learn beautiful life lessons.”

As Mrs. Mukherjee confirmed, “ Souradip's visits make me happy and I cherish that till the next visit".
